Welcome to tfLink. By using our temporary file sharing service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our service.

1. Service Description

tfLink is a free temporary file sharing service that allows users to:

• Upload files up to 100MB in size
• Receive temporary download links for shared files
• Use the service anonymously or through authenticated API access
• Generate QR codes for easy mobile access to files

2. User Responsibilities

By using tfLink, you agree that you will NOT upload:

• Illegal content, including but not limited to copyrighted materials you don't have rights to share
• Malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Content containing personal information of others without consent
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitative content
• Content intended to harass, threaten, or harm others

File Size and Type Restrictions

The maximum file size is 100MB. We do not restrict file types, but you are solely responsible for ensuring uploaded content complies with these terms.

3. Anonymous vs. Authenticated Uploads

Anonymous Uploads

• No account registration required
• Files are automatically deleted after 7 days
• No ability to manage or delete files before expiration

Authenticated Uploads

• Requires API token authentication
• Files are NOT automatically deleted
• User responsible for file management
• Access through API/CLI tools

4. Service Availability

tfLink is provided "as is" without any guarantees of availability or reliability. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time
• Remove any content that violates these terms
• Limit or deny access to users who violate these terms
• Change file size limits or retention policies

5. Privacy and Data

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle data.

Key points:

• We do not collect personal information from anonymous users
• We do not use cookies for tracking
• Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure
• Anonymous uploads are automatically deleted after 7 days

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading content, you grant tfLink a limited license to:

• Store and distribute your files during the retention period
• Generate download links and QR codes for your files
• Process files through our CDN infrastructure

7. DMCA and Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content uploaded to tfLink infringes your copyright:

• Email us at tflink@tmpfile.link
• Include the download link to the infringing content
• Provide proof of copyright ownership
• Include your contact information

We will investigate valid DMCA complaints and remove infringing content as appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability

tfLink and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any content uploaded by users
• Loss of data or files
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the service
• Third-party actions related to content hosted on our service

9. Revenue and Advertising

tfLink is a free service supported by advertising revenue. By using our service, you acknowledge that:

• Advertisements may be displayed on our website
• We may use advertising partners to display relevant ads
• Third-party ad networks may collect data according to their own privacy policies

10. Infrastructure and Technical Details

tfLink operates on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure:

• Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage
• Authentication tokens are stored in Cloudflare KV
• Content is delivered through Cloudflare's global CDN
• We rely on Cloudflare's security and availability guarantees

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Uploading illegal or harmful content
• Abuse of the service (e.g., excessive uploads, spam)

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
